Correct tool for semi-tubular rivets?

I am needing to install some semi tubular 1/4" rivets on a roll up door. The manufacturer parts list shows a tool (http://todco.com/pdfs/fasteners_0811.pdf - middle column on the pdf at the bottom part number #69309) for using an air hammer to install the rivets.

I coincidentally have started to work with sheet metal for numerous reasons from bikes to cars, and I do other random fabrication. With that said I want to buy a tool that will be best for installing rivets when the application is appropriate.

I have read that using an actual rivet gun is better for working with rivets vs using an air hammer.

Any help would be great.

Thanks, Clayton

You can buy the tools already made up for the tubular rivets. But they take a special seat and a special punch to roll the end over. You can buy a hand held squeezer to put the punch and die in to roll them, or you can use a punch and die in a block and use a "C" clamp to squeeze them down.
