Summary of the concerns and my thoughts. Plz let me know if i missed or got something wrong.

It looks messy. Might this cause a safety or electrical issue?

Solder Should not be under the screw terminals. It isn't.

Should not have 2 connections under screw terminals. There is only one.

Heat from the kiln. The electrical box is located 3 feet above kiln & has a constant on temperature readout.

Cable should be in conduit. I agree.
You are not convincing anyone with that logic. If there are 2 wires present, it's 2 wires. Now you manage to not place one under the screw by having a connection just outside the screw socket and think that's OK. And that connection is soldered. What have they been telling you all along?

There ARE ways to do this. Solder isn't one of them.

the solder didnt cold flow. I know how to properly heat both metals as i apply solder. my solder is not anywhere near the receptacle screw terminal.

Im now considering and researching crimp sleeve/ferrule.
Understand that cold flow is entirely different than a cold joint.

A cold joint occurs when insufficient heat is applied and the solder is gray, not shiny and did not wet to the wire.

Cold flow is when a metal is compressed under a screw and the metal "flows" without reaching a melting state. Over time and even gentle heat cycling, metals can cold flow and this can lead to loose connections.

The physics behind all the well established work practices is real. If you understand the work practices and comply you can skip the physics lesson. If you understand the physics, you are in a position to create good work practices. Many good work practices are the result of analyzing failures and developing reliable solutions.
