I think that I posted this in the wrong forum.
Can anyone recommend a clear topcoat for a garage floor that will not discolor due to Brown tire tracks?
Short version: poorly done garage floor Epoxy/Sherwin Williams clear urethane. Dangerously slippery and streaked.
I top coated with Raingard Garage Floor Enamel with grit to reduce my risk of fall - I'm 83 years old. Bad mistake - the coating discolors due to the car tires - result brown tracks in my garage. No, they will not clean off - tried everything known to man to clean them - no help from Raingard ("just keep rubbing"). I'm convinced the coating is permanently discolored.
I have sanded away the Raingard.
Need a clear top coat that will not discolor due to car tires. Or, one that is able to be readily cleaned.
Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated
