Cost effective powered hydraulic shop press.

I am looking for options on converting my 20 ton shop press to a powered press.

I know I can buy the harbor freight air powered 20 ton bottle jack but I was hoping for a actual hydraulic pump with fwd/rev shuttle valve lever control.

I was thinking of using a power steering pump or similar to power a reversing ram using the mentioned fwd/Rev lever.

Here is a link to a video of a guy broaching a keyway using a big powered press. I would like something that operates like this but on a smaller scale.

why just buy an air over hydraulic pump, and then you can add separate valve?
