Hi everyone. I'm looking into getting a new garage with living quarters above. The size of the garage is 26x24. I'm in Prescott Arizona. Our frost line is 18". Footing height is 6" and foundation wall has to be 6" above grade. If I calculate it right I need about 15 yards of concrete right? Concrete is $100 a yard were I'm at. I can do the escavating. Just need to pay for the pouring and framing of the walls and everything that goes with it. What is a good rough estimate for this job?

Round to 12 yards for a 4" slab, 8" x 24" perimeter grade beam, the surface of the slab you have to place 6" above the finished grade. So there's not actually a wall sticking above the plane of the slab. I would guess around $5000-6000 for time + material. Probably up to $1000 more to include more serious reinforcement such as a rebar grid.
