I just finished my 20x28 garage. I have 2 300' loops. I was wondering what everyone paid for there systems minus the pex tubing and floor insulation.

I'm in the same boat. I just finished up my 26 x 30 floor. I have 3 250' loops. I paid just over $700 for pex, foam, vapor block. I paid the cement contractor $3500 for labor and cement.

I am still in the decision stage for the heating unit. I hope this info is what you were asking?

When I built my loghome 5 years ago, I added a 500,000 btu wood burning boiler outside - it was $6500 plus $1200 for a propane backup burner (kind of nice if you plan to vacation in the winter). This boiler is providing hot water for the entire living space of the home (3200 sqft) plus basement (1800 sqft pex tubing in concrete) and the garage (580 sqft pex tubing in concrete). I live in New Hampshire.

The garage has three 300ft loops of pex tubing

Q? would you mind sharing the brand name of both the wood boiler and back up unit (propane)? Also what was the positioning of the boiler (I>E) length of runs to both home and garage and or pictures?? I am comptemplating installation of a similuar situation. Are you happy with your return on the investment for heating with wood? Any information would be appreciated!:headscrat

I bought a Trinity Ti 150 from NTI. It's a modulating wall boiler that's about 92% efficient. Contact New York Thermal and they should be able to give you current pricing.
