I have been following many helpful threads on this site, great info. I am getting ready to start a 24x28 basic two car garage and was wondering what per sq ft I can expect to pay in the Maryland area. ?? Thank you

I can't give you an answer but some of the members close to your local might need more info of want you want.

I'm also in the $35 per sq ft range.

The number is a bit skewed however, as I did my own earthwork and a good part of the labor, with help closing the building in. If you only considered the cost to close in less earthwork, I was around $25 per sq ft.

The building also has a second floor, which is cheap sq footage as long as you don't go crazy with finishes.

I'm in the same boat as you! I'm trying to get bids for a 50x40 hangar. My Dad just told me about panelized systems. It's stick build but they do it in a factory! Most major cities have a few companies that offer it. From what I've been reading you can save an easy 16-25%! I'm still waiting for a bunch of bids to come back but I'm probably going to go that route. Might be worth checking out!
