Costco 4' LED shop light

My wife does Costco 1-2 times a month last time she went I told her if she saw them buy me 1. well they were 2 for 49.98. Haven't made up my mind on if I'm going back for more yet. I like the way the look but I don't like the pull chain for my use.

Wow 2 for $49.98! Thats a great deal. I picked up 4 of them for $49.98 each.
I didn't like the pull cord either, so I ran them into an outlet that is controlled by a switch.
They are great, and super bright. Its hard to tell from the picture but I can take another one tomorrow to show you, if you would like.

Ok I have done a little test. we just threw these up temporary ran a cord with a tee up there and took a couple of pics.



and now on



I don't feel these pics do the lights justice and I'm not sure they are right for my use. But at the price I may buy 4 more and use them till I can get my ceiling done

Went to two Costcos in Mpls this week, neither had these. Bummer.

any idea how to mount these flush and cover the ceiling box ??? I don't wanted to hang it on chains.
The ones I got from Lowes I have to drill out the rivets, disassemble and then mount and reassemble very loosely......

Here in Massachusetts / New Hampshire, Costso is telling me that the old Feit item #917972 is discontinued (last ones went quick at $19.99 after an instant $10 rebate at the register). New item #689518 is replacement according to a very helpful Costco guy - these may be linkable. But no date for when they are due in yet.

That might not be all bad especially if they improved the surface mount on the new lights. The old surface mount was a key hole design with no way to tighten up the screw mount once installed.
