I have the Cosco set and it is about the same quality as the 115 Piece Titanium Nitride Coated M2 High Speed Steel Drill Bit Set from Harbor Freight, which is good enough for most of the stuff I do.

I have hundreds of bits. Picked up a Chinese small set from Ace Hardware one day for $2 on a whim. Gold-colored but not sure if they are coated. They dulled with the first attempt at steel.
Recently got a DX750 so they will get multiple chances.
For wood, they might be fine.

i don't have that same exact set, but i did buy a drill bit set from costco before, it was around $40 and had a huge assortment of brad point, ti coated, masonry, spade, holesaws, driver bits, regular black ones. let me tell you that was a complete waste of money. I swear the damn bits got dull drilling holes in plywood. I'm never buying drill bits again from costco.
