just purchased these for the garage

is there a way to rig a on off switch to them...

if not probably will have to return them

You mean the 4' Feit LED shop lights? I just installed some of those yesterday. They have a pull chain on/off switch. The extra chain came in a little packet along with the light. If you purchased them recently, they should have the on/off pull. If not, exchange them for some that do.

non of mine do , no chain, when i plug it in, it goes on, unplug, goes off


on your paperwork in the box, does it say what model number yours is

if you cant return them id think the easiest is using a power strip with a on/off switch

ill return them, just need to find a costco that has the plug on them....im in southern cali...not sure if its a regional thing.

Am I missing something? Why can't you just switch the outlet they plug into? If you don't want to do that, get a remotely-operated outlet. Google wireless remote control outlet.

I was planning on putting them to the same one my garage opener is connected so I can't switch to that one.

I have picked up 12 of those for shop lighting. 1 Costco had them with pull chains the other Costco had not chains. For the cost they look like a good deal and the light is good

found a costco that had the switch light models, 5 bucks more tho, but works out well
