$200 for one cabinet is to rich for my blood. It sure looks like they will function well. I've been running around this Summer to tagsales hoping to find old kitchen cabinets that I can paint for my garage.

Those are sharp looking Glen. But I don't know anything about them.

I'm with you Chuck. My current garage has a small kitchen's worth of '50s steel kitchen cabinets in it. They are great. Rather than painting, I cleaned, and covered them in an off-white contact paper. Has held up for years, and creates a smooth, even, consistent finish I could not have gotten by painting. Polished the chrome handles, and they look like new...outside anyway!

I know $200 per is not cheap, but compared to similar cabinets from other sources the price seems pretty reasonable. According to the website, some Costco warehouses stock these cabinets. I'm hoping to find one locally so I can see them in person.

I ordered one of the tool chests in this series to check it out. It arrives today I wanted to check the quality before making the large purchase. Last week they had a 6PC set offered for $1500. If I don't like it I can take it back to Costco for a full refund.

Let us know what you think of the quality. Due to the bulkiness of these things, I didn't want to have to take it back if I didn't like it. Ultimately, I'll probably have to just try it and see...

Try www.craftline.us They are located in North Haven Ct and you can buy direct from them as they are the manufacturer. The stuff is good quality and won't break the budget.

Just got mine and they don't seem too bad. I was a little bit disappointed because I caught them over their two week summer shut down period, so not only did I have to wait (this patience thing and me aren't really on good terms) but then I found out they were sold out of the item I really wanted.

But overall, they're nice cabinets.

Please tell them that you saw their name " Craftline.US " on the #74 Red SRT-4 racecar when you order !!!! Thanks

The owner is a car guy also. Haven't seen his garage yet though.

I got the PL-UC1R-Ms. I really wanted the PL-UC2s but they were discontinued, and the PL-UC2Rs were going to be a bit too wide for my space.

They're nicely made. Heavy. I like the fact that they're tall. Many of the Big Box store's units were only 24 inches tall. This is going to sound sort of dumb, but they felt like office filing cabinets to me. They had that same thickness of metal and heft to them.

I wish you could change the mount of the doors on the PL-UC1R-M, but alas, you can't. Overall I'm pretty happy with them.

PL-UC2s Is basically the PL-UC3 without the extra droors with deviders and you get the legs. They have the PL-UC3's in stock however they are $50 more. I was going to buy a combination of both 2 and 3 but found out they were sold out. After getting the total for 7 3's with shipping $1200 for 7 units I decided to stick with my current plan.

Also I ended up taking the Costco tool box back which was part of their MBI Line. I had it delivered to see if I would like the box before placing the entire order. It was very heavy duty, the droors were large but the footprint was too bulky.
