for $19.99 prices vary though. I bought two, too get rid of the old halogen style units I had. Big improvement with exception of they only have one setting.

They also had the shop lights for 10 bucks cheaper so they are now $29.99 vs the $39.99.

So after reading through the manual on the last page comes the fine print...Snap On logo is registered trade mark and that snap on does not make or distribute the item.

Yet they allow their name to be on it. Very Odd. Never seen them do this before, it's made by Alltrade. Very bright but deceiving marketing.

deceiving? lots of companies do stuff like that.

I personally wouldn't expect anything made by Snap On to cost only $20 new.

They've been doing this at costco for years. That said, I had an Alltrade jack, and it was really nice.

It made no mention that it was a Snap-On product on the box. It did say made in China but I expected that for the price.

So Snap-On can't sell a product unless it's triple over priced your saying. If it works for a year I will be happy as that is what the warranty is good for.

It is endorsed by Snap-On but fails to mention that on it so I think that was deceiving. Anyway it works good and will save me some electricity.

Is this the same Snap-on light people have been talking about here for a while now? Or is it a new product.

It is the same one. I think normal price is $27 and it is on sale at certain locations for 19$. My uncle picked up his when it was $15 last year. I picked up mine at full price when they opened a new Costco relatively closeby a few months back. At 2000 lumens, I think I will need one more for what I do.

It is called license merchandise. It is done all the time.

Exactly. You think Harley Davidson actually makes t-shirts, coasters, and cigarette lighters?

That being said, I have two of these lights. They're actually pretty good lights. Not "Snap-On $200 each" good, but still good.

Dang, I just bought one and it was $30... still seems like a mighty fine light for the price.

As to the Snap-On branding, it'll match my wet/dry vac that was made by who knows who but "licensed" to carry the Snap-On name. Bought it years ago, later picked up some odds and ends to make it better (casters, longer hose, etc).

I've had two of these for over a year. They work good. Bright, light weight, adjustable angle stand. No brainer at $20. I couldn't care less about the snap on brand name.

Anyone have a pic of receipt or in store pricing to try to get my Costco to match price? Mine is still showing $29.99. Bummer.

You have to have a lot of blind SnapOn love to be happy with one these lights. When I buy a cheap Chinese light I prefer to pay a cheap Chinese price.

I think I paid like 24$ for my halogen drop light at Menards a few years ago. When I found it was dead last time I tried to use it I decided to buy one of these. Just got back from Costco with it. Seems pretty nice. I also like that it has a switch. My last halogen droplight just was on any time it was plugged in. Since my last one was dead I ended up finishing a transmission mount replacement by cell phone light in the driveway at midnight. I'll be glad to not repeat that now.

Please tell us where we can buy a 2000 lumens led worklight cheaper than $20 that is as nice. The Harbor Freight model costs $20 and is only 270 lumens. I could care a less about it being branded Snap On.

this might be a stupid question - but this IS the floodlight in the picture im posting OP?

cause i know they have sold other S/O lights. i have 4 of these lights, 2 of the older 1600 lumen model, and 2 of the 2000 lumen models.. they also sell a 2700 lumen model thats not at Costco, and i haven't seen anywhere else but online. i just bought my last one like a week ago for $29.. i use two at work to help set telephone poles in the dark on emergency calls, and two at home to usually wash the car now since its gets dark so early. i havent had a problem with any, and most of mine are mounted on tripods now.

this is my last one, mounted to a $20 craftsman tripod.

you cant. case closed.. i paid $39 each for my original 1600 lumen models, and i think i might have created the first thread about these lights.. i paid $39 again for my first 2000 lumen one, and then at $29 there was no way id let them sell out w/o aother.. at $19, im tempeted to buy what left since they sell for $45 online now, and when they were $39 you could find them for $70 - $90 on ebay all day long..

you S/O guys find a better light, for $19, or even at $29 - ill pay your mortgage for a month..

They are still $29 here in Charleston, SC. They are still a great buy at that price. Picked up a couple for gifts and another one for myself. I have not found another LED light that is as bright and gave up using the old halogens due to the heat. Having the Snap-on name just makes them look better.

Still $29 in Bridgewater NJ and Montgomeryville PA.
Great light for $29.00 and mounts easily on my CRAPSMAN floor stand by drilling two holes and using the two bolts that come with the light.
