Does the Kreg box come loaded with screws because if so it's probably worth it. Kreg screws are like gold in screw form. So expensive.

I went in the store this evening to have a look at this tool box. It was bigger than I expected. I've had some bigger plastic boxes with this sort of handle and I didn't think it held much weight. I mean I don't want to put too many heavy items in it, but with all the room in the bottom area I would be tempted. Also, the display model the clear plastic lid looked warped on the display model. I wasn't impressed, but it was worth checking out.

It's held quite a lot of weight in mine, 18v Rigid drill, impact driver, charger, extra batter, DeWalt drill box, and several boxes of screws and bolts in the top. A small ratchet set too. If the lid was warped, it was probably because some of the pockets inside weren't line up quite right and that can cause the lid to sit funny because it is kind of thin.

I've been very happy with mine. Just my opinion.

My local Costco doesn't have these, so that is what I did last week.

Picked one of these up, it is actually REALLY nice quality. I liked the red and grey coloration a lot so I got the Costco version but for sure the Husky and Costco boxes are 100% identical.

I've been waiting for these go hopefully go on sale at Costco. I checked again today and found that they are not going to be restocked, so if you want one, now's the time.

They only had about a dozen left at my warehouse, and I bought 4.

I was hoping that the size would work for my pocket hole stuff, and it does! For anybody with a Porter Cable 560 quick-jig, it fits in the bottom of this toolbox (just barely). The PC 560 is awkward to store, and this toolbox is just perfect! I can also fit 3 pocket hole clamps, 1000+ screws, and have room left over for additional small kreg jigs that I intend to pick up soon. Very happy!

I bought the Husky version today. Supposedly our HD had 11 in stock, the employees could only find two. It's a good addition to the Waterloo cabinet I bought for the farm shop. I also used my military discount and got it for $16 and change.

My Costco here in Kirkland, WA has these back in stock and on-sale for $16.99, through 03/16/17 . A damn good value!



I ended up getting a second to match my first one, which I have devoted to electronics hobby. The top works perfectly for holding test leads, etc.; while the bottom holds my multimeters, precision cutters, etc.

I picked one up at the Costco sale price and really like it. I work three days a week doing auto restoration week for a private car collector in Fort Worth. I use to carry a large bag of tools. Got a lot more organization in this new box.

Pretty sure this one from Costco is actually taller than the Kreg one, which is nice....I need another toolbox like I need a hole in the head, but for $17 I might pick one up at my Costco if they have em.

I have the Kreg tool box and this looks pretty much identical. I have the entire top part filled with pocket hole screws and the weight is never an issue for the box. My local Costco had these at $16.99. Great deal.

I actually talked to a human at Keter about buying 10 blue boxes to match my Kreg box. I was told the color was only made for Kreg. It is the exact design as others though.

She said the closest match to the blue was a run made specifically for Ace hardware.

Really can't beat these boxes for the money.

The compartment in the bottom is a large open area, like a standard toolbox, it fits a LOT of stuff.

Yeah, the open bottom area is quite large. To give an idea of how much stuff it will fit, here is what I have in the bottom portion only:

box 1: impact driver, drill driver, 2 batteries, battery charger, large spade bit set, several small to large drill bit sets, and room to spare.

box 2: Porter Cable 560 QuickJig, two large Kreg pocket hole clamps, one large face clamp, 4-5 boxes of pocket screws, and room to spare.

These tool boxes fit so much stuff that they can actually be quite heavy. Even so, they definitely are sturdy enough to handle the weight.

Keter makes pretty good products, they make quite a few products too.

They do make a cantilever storage box that fits what you described. I'm not sure if Costco sells it but you won't have any trouble finding it online. Also, I believe it's not at high since the bottom is an organizer like the top and not a tool box function.

I'll second that. I have one box, and am going to go get a few more. I keep all my drill-oriented tools/stuff in mine. Bits in the top (including some really long bits, and hole saws), and in the bottom I've got my Dewalt 18v cordless drill, and a corded Dewalt Hammer drill, several bit sets, and the handles for both drills. I could probably fit a bit more. They're deceptively large.
