They seem as bright as a normal T8 shop light, and brighter than a T12.
If you have a 2 bulb T8 shop light with an electronic ballast, you'll get a little more and better light out of a pair of Philips LED bulbs that run $10 a piece at HD.
If you've got T12 shop lights, or magnetic ballast T8 shop lights, it would be cheaper to replace with these.

I didn't realize those were daisy chainable. I wish my lights were like that. I've got a mess of wires hanging from the ceiling going into a 3-1 plug.
There have been at least three versions of this light. Each subsequent one is slightly different. The very latest is daisy-chainable. They are fairly recent, or are at my store.

Yep, now both daisy-chainable, AND now with a pull chain too.
Earliest ones had neither.

Daisy chain = huge plus for me. I plan to run two rows of four across the ceiling of my carport, will just have two outlets to wire. Right now, I have no lighting at all, so something is an improvement.

I think 4000K is doable for work room; if lower, I wouldn't touch it. However, I like 5000K for work room.4000k? No thanks
CRI is reported at 83, so it's a bit higher than the CREE 100W-equiv bulbs you find in HD or even fluorescent.
Overall, I think it's a good buy.

I plugged one in to a wall socket when I got home with it and was practically blinded. So I would say it is pretty bright.Are these bright and worth it?
