I came across this "Mechanics Cart" at Costco this evening. The Costco tag said Torin. It has two ball bearing drawers. The only thing I dislike about this cart is that the top has two pieces that slide to access the top area of the cart. It seemed to be sturdy enough and the price was very nice at $59.97. Item number is 523781. If anyone has any experience with this cart please let me know. I'm strongly considering purchasing one.

The only thing I dislike about this cart is that the top has two pieces that slide to access the top area of the cart.

Actually, the horizontal sliding two piece cart top is a very sought after detail as most of the non-truck brand carts only offer the lift lid cart which negates the ability to work on the cart's lid and still access your tools in the top storage area.

The drawers look tiny and anemic and the lid storage area look pretty deep unless there are some sliding bins in there.

It's likely made by one of the many world wide cart suppliers that make other brands I'm sure, but I have not seen that one.

$60 is a good price given the size, but those two tiny drawers would be filled in the blink of an eye for me.

I've had one for about 6 months. It's OK. I only roll mine to move it out of the way. You have to have the 2 top sliders partially open or the drawers won't open. I'm not too crazy about that feature.

I had to lower mine about 3" so that it would fit under another tool box of mine, but it was an easy fix.

The box is great for my purpose, I'm not sure how it would hold up for daily use dragging it around in a shop though.
