BUYERS BEWARE! I picked up two of them at my Costco in Flemington, NJ yesterday for $17 and when I went to Costco today in Montgomeryville, PA (just for lunch) they had them for $23....... So much for standard Costco pricing.

$23.99 in Hackensack, where my buddy works.
Called my local store in Wayne & they said they didn't have it at all.
I gotta cut through Flemington today to go visit the in-laws--hopefully Flemington still has it @ 17. I'd pick up a couple more if they do.

Thanks for the tip

Wow, I bough one off Amazon, at this price-point, you might as well buy a second one to complement the other

Does anyone have a picture of the rebate for $17.99. They were $17.99 at my costco, then they ran out, and there were three more last night at $29.99. I bought one and want to see if they will honor the old price.

The sale price which included and "instant rebate" ended at close of business on 12/26/16.

The regular sale price of $29.99 became effective at the start of business on 12/27/16.

If you missed the deal, you are out of luck for now.

They were trying to clear the stock down to one display stand for items in the upcoming flyer. They are on reorder for the April of 2017 and allegedly will be around $25 in the flyer.

No- I don't work for Costco but I had a long discussion with a Store Manager on 12/26 when they tried to tell me I could not buy three because they were selling all of their stock to a guy who was "on his way" and wanted them all. He explained a few things about floor spaces, sales goals, bonuses, etc.... He was panicked they would not sell and called a third party he knows who does eBay and other online sales to see if he was interested. He was and was coming to get them that day so the manager would hit a goal and get the floro space.

My Costco had 5 in stock prior to 12/26. They couldn't locate them when I was there. I was back at the store last night and there were a couple squeezed on a shelf next to the cat lights. I bought one and it rang up for $29.99, stopped at customer service and explained the situation. Lady said if I brought a photo of price tag or receipt they would honor the sales price from previous week. If anyone has a $17.99 price tag I would greatly appreciate it.

Are they really all that? I could use some work lights eventually for under the car or under the hood at night... Anything similar?

I have an older one and for a sub $20 worklight they are great. The only bad thing about them is they do not put off heat compared to a regular incandescent lamp, Loving in FL that is a good thing, but some people may prefer the "heat lamp" effect of the 500 watt ones living up north.

I think that's one thing energy efficiency experts miss...that energy is being converted to heat as well as light, though admittedly not as efficiently as other methods. I still have my halogen work lights for that reason. I also have this Snap On light for summer when I don't want that heat.

One nice thing about these is they're easy to run off a power inverter.
