Thanks Adam, I found the thread. Did you buy a box or are you still looking? If so, what make/model box did you go with? It sounds like you have put in more research into this than I have.

At the time I had a nice Craftsman GripLatch box. Not a Snappy, but it was nice enough for me and met all my needs -- except space. I ran out.
I wanted to replace it with a larger box- I looked at Craftsman, Harbor Freight, International, this Torin, Waterloo, and many others. They were all bigger than my current box, and all I considered as nice or nicer in terms of finish and slides and everything, but what I couldn't get was the drawers that I wanted. My tools and my organization style I am able to use a lot of shorter height drawers, and it works well for me to have mostly those with some medium and some deep. All of those boxes basically had all deep drawers and some super deep drawers -- which really meant fewer drawers to me. Just would have been a waste of space for my stuff. Cubic inch wise these other boxes were king, but square inch wise, my C-Man was much better off. At least the way I saw it. This also is price dependant, there were others that I did like but they were many thousands of dollars.
In the end, I bought another of the identical C-Man Griplatch boxes (so I basically have 56" of storage by whatever height it is), and a Harbor Freight tool cart, which I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to use yet, but it seems like I will figure out a way to make it handy.
I got my stuff on sale and with coupons and other discounts, so I have a total of about $900ish into my setup that is two C-Man 26" Griplatch top and bottom boxes and a HF tool cart.
If I had no box to start with and a few more bucks to spend, I would have strongly considered going with the 56" International top and bottom boxes and adding a side locker on each side. I had talked to sellers on eBay and could have come away with that setup shipped to me for about $1600 IIRC.
