Hey all. I searched a couple times, but didn't find a definitive answer. I have the HF car dollies and want to epoxy my floor. From my understanding, these wheels (since they are metal and don't spin as easy as the higher end dollies) will mar an epoxy floor. Is that correct? If so, is there a suitable caster I can put on them and not cost me more than a new set of dollies? I'm wheeling a '61 fairlane 500 (4-door) around so it isn't a light load. I understand there will be scratches and such, but I don't want to go looking for trouble.
Also, the fairlane leaked some old gas "sludge" (from 1982) onto my floor. I scraped it off and used a degreaser to take it off. The floor is clean, but the concrete is stained (darker color like when it's wet and you can see all the tiny "lines" in the concrete. I know I'll have to DG it anyway since it's been sealed, but will this spot screw me? It's about 12" diameter.
Lastly, where is a good place to start when looking for an epoxy? I want it to hold up, but at the same time I know I'm not parking an abrams tank on it. All advice is appreciated! Thanks!
**edit** I also forgot to mention - I would also like to install a lift some day. My concrete is about 4" thick and slopes toward the door (not drastically, but probably 3" over the course of 16' or so). If I do a 2-post, will a shim work? Also, if I do an in-ground lift or have to grind down to level for a two-post, will I be able to suitable "patch" where I cut into the floor? Thanks!
