My nephew, John, needed a lighted mirror frame for booth at an upcoming restaurant show. This is what we put together. A few pieces of wood nailed together and some lights installed and it looks great.
John also needed a bar for his garage parties. So he picked up a small piece of counter top that he found at a local discount supplier and we put this together. I know that since he brought it home he has added a power strip, rope lighting under the top, a small florescent light and a microwave oven inside.
Then the little wooden wheel barrow planter was a Mothers Day project last year for my wife, Ana. I had the kids paint their own designs on it for that personal touch. Ana likes to plant flowers in it each year.
I haven't done much wood working since high school and these little projects show that!!
