I picked this up at a yard sale today, and am curious if anyone has any information about it. like what it may be worth? Availability, maybe some literature, what era it is from? I pretty much get what it is, an old school multi meter, it does amp, volt, and resistance. Just thought it was cool so i bought it, It is in excellent shape, with nay even small cosmetic scuffs on the outside.

Here is some pics.

Those are nice! They are part of a matched set, I have the dwell/ tach unit that looks the same. IIRC you could get a rack that held the different meters all in a row.

Now, for the maybe bad news. I wouldn't use that on a modern computerized car without taking the time to find out if it had a built-in 10 Megohm impedance. Since computerized cars came out the powers-that-be have hammered the fact into our heads that you can't use a meter that doesn't have impedance built in. That meter is pre- computerized car so I don't know if it is designed that way or not. I'm sure someone smarter than me will be along that can tell you how to test your meter to find out.
