First off why does everyone put the post in the ground first then concrete? Why not lay the slab and step wall and attach the post to the step wall?

Also why are you using a laminated post every 6-8' instead of a basic 2' spaced stud wall?

What's the most common roof pitch everyone is running?

Sorry I'm new and can't seem to find answers to these (didn't look for the pitch lol) and in sure ill have many many more question hope you guys are up to answering them..

Sounds like you are talking about the difference between a pole building and a stud wall building. They're two different animals...one isn't necessarily better than the other, they both have their place.

Roof pitch is whatever you want. 4:12 is pretty common for economy's sake, but often people will match the pitch of their house, or they go with a higher pitch to gain attic space.
