Alright, so i got my new compressor hooked up, now what! lets try the beast :) not too fast cowboy we got another problem, the compressor air outlet is a 1/2" opening with a shut off valve and a 3/8" bushing to accomodate a 3/8" coupler. hmmm!!!

i went to the canadian Harbour freight (princess auto) i found 3 type of hoses 1/4", 3/8",1/2" and tons of coupler types with all kinda different fittings.
my idea is to get as much (volume/pressure) off my 60gallon. 135PSI , 5Hp, 2 stage compressor as i can.

i am hesitating between picking 1/2" hose or 3/8" but the problem is that they all come with 1/4" NPT at the end. and i still have to buy couplers for all my tools that also use 1/4" NPT

the coupler installed on the compressor is a 3/8" "H" type, what is the difference between all these types and what is the best ones to pick to get the best out of the compressor?

If you want maximum airflow, check out the Milton High-Flow couplers. I changed all my hoses and tools over to them and highly recommend them.

I bought mine at Northern Tool. They frequently have a $20 off $100 coupon that they send out in the mail.

i just can't find any high flow milton products , the only ones i found were "P" "G" and "H"
"V" style as was suggested are simply impossible to find where i am. they have to order them and it will take 2 weeks at least before i get them, i checked ebay same thing not a lot of choice there either.

my brother lives in PA he can get them for me but he does not know where to get them from and i dont know either, if you know a speciality place where they are available in harrisburg, PA please let me know.
