Hello GJ! We debated amongst ourselves the best place to post this and “Deals” seemed to be the best, so we hope we don’t get TOO much grief for it.
KC Tool has discontinued the use of coupon codes on our website. We have found over the years that codes get tossed around and picked up by the discount websites so much that in the end, everybody who we were trying to reward actually gets hurt because we have to adjust our pricing schemes. We hope that by eliminating coupon codes entirely that we can actually stay MORE competitive with our pricing and offer lower prices without thinking about whether somebody might use a coupon or not.
We are very appreciative to the GJ community and have had a long-standing coupon code for readers of the forum: “THANKS2GJ”. Though we have turned off almost all the coupons in our system, we wanted to give you guys one last chance to use that code and start to adapt to our new system. The GJ coupon code will be live until May 23rd, after which it will no longer work.
Though we don’t comment or talk much on GJ, we are avid readers and try to stay on top of what people are saying and how they feel, so we know that the biggest criticism of KC Tool is that we are expensive. We understand that completely and hope this is a step in the right direction. We hope you stick with us and stay tuned for many more sales and promotions to come!
