Covebase Gap

I just finished installing the Mototile and went with a 6" black Johnsonite Vinyl Wall Base with toe for the baseboard.

The issue is the Mototile calls for a 1/2 gap for expansion (I went with 1/4") now the cove base toe does not cover the gap.

Is there a Covebase that offers a larger toe or any suggestions on how to cover this gap?

I saw the title of your post and it reminded me that I need to search for pictures on Google on how to finish the base of my drywall at the 2-4" concrete curb. While I was Googling I came across this, and thought it might be what you are looking for. I have no experience with this vendor and I imagine a similar product should be available elsewhere.

Something is not adding up. I looked at that Johnsonite product and the product claims to be 0.125" thick, which is half of your gap right there. The way that cove base 'flares' at the bottom looks like it is designed to cover some pretty large gaps, at least 1/2" if not greater. I suspect you don't have a true 1/4" gap. Maybe you measured the gap at full expansion and subsequently the tiles have shrunk down and the gap i significantly larger?

I ended up pulling a row of tiles and butting one edge flush against the wall
As I am in Florida (and it is 100 degrees today) I am thinking the tiles have expanded as much as they are going to.
I re cut the last line too just butting up to the opposite wall so unless these expand even more I think it should work out.

If it ever does expand more you can always trim the edge.
I was going to suggest 1x whatever the same height of the moulding. Paint the top black. Make it off the tile 1/8 inch so no moisture transfer.
