Worn out from work Dickie Carpenter pants and tshirt or hoodie.

Tshirt and shorts in summer (hell I am lying, my garage so well heated and sealed up I wear shorts out there in the Canadian winter too) then the dickies when I am welding.

I ware Walls coveralls. I have the short sleeve type.In the winter I wear sweat pants and /or thermal underwear and thermal shirt. I am comfortable at 45° but when the heat gets up to 60° I am warm.
Tip: when you go to buy your coveralls, try them on. while you have them on, raise both arms above your head. If the crotch doesn't cut you, buy them.
Mine are differently "baggy", but I can move anyway I need to without "binding"

I often dress in the Jay Leno denim style. I can buy a denim shirt and pants for less than $50. I do not think it makes sense for me to pay over $100 for coveralls to protect my other clothes worth less than half.

I buy Sears blue long sleeve coveralls when they go on sale which is often. I buy them 2x larger than my size and they are very baggy but comfortable. I can lift my arms without the crutch huting me. I cut the legs to length.

They do protect my casual clothes and putting them in the wash to clean is easy.

here is a link to the coveralls I have. I typically use them year round. Naked underneath in summer, shorts and Tee shirt spring and fall, long underwear in winter.
I get 52 tall to make sure the crotch does cut when I put my arms up. I am 6 foot 240.
I can find them at Farm Fleet, but lately they have not carried my size. I now order them direct from Walls web site.

Our local Kmart is closing, so everything is being liquidated. I bought new Diehard short sleeve coveralls for $23. They had various colors and sizes. They even had the insulated Carhartt style ones for about $50.

This is my first pair. I've usually just hit Goodwill and bought $10 jeans, plus my old tshirts. When the inevitably rip in about a year I don't cry over the $10.

My vintage-look ones are what they call 'Fisher Stripe'. Dickies makes them, as well as others. I wear them to tractor shows, or where ever I want that vintage look.

Hmm, after thinking about my last post, I searched eBay and scored a flight suit for $25 including shipping. Nice thing is these come in lots of sizes, even short and tall versions. Should work great for crawling under the house. Might even be Nomex.
Lots of good deals on these on eBay, although many are way overpriced.

I got a few pair for $20 from Red Kap. They last pretty good, and they were cheap enough if they got beyond usable, I don't feel bad throwing them out. You can also spend more for things like heavy cotton, flame resistant, etc (I think they even come in Nomex).

I buy used coveralls at my local auto parts store. I also have an apron, as well as an old school "lab coat". It all depends on what I am doing. Hickory shirts are high on my list as well. The above have saved me a lot in clothing.

I wear round house overalls all the time very comfortable and if you wear them loose fitting the bottom half will breathe well. They are also made right here the good ole US.
They cost me about $40 a pair and last as well or better than my levis used to.

Bib overalls here, I do admit that coveralls would’ve been great yesterday in the crawl space on my back installing that dehumidifier....
