Covertible Creeper?

How do they hold up? I broke my HF plastic creeper after about 3 months of 5 day a week heavy use and I'm only 130 lbs haha.

Any feedback is appreciated, the height isn't an issue as I work on heavy duty diesels.

i have the same make as the one from the link but another brand. I must say it was a bad decision. The casters are really good at first, but the material get brittle and falls apart after a while. They screws also like to loosen but a dab of Loctite helped me out there.
Second negative Point is that you nearly always slip off when you push yourself underneath the car etc. I think this is due to the slippiness of the leather Imitation.
Third Point is that it is really annoying when you want to change it from a sitting position to a lay down position. Watch your fingers with that, it hurts like hell when you´re not careful - plus ist hard to have grip on the frame when you have oily/greasy fingers.

All in all i am using it in chair mode only and i´m quite happy with that. Comfy without a doubt

Does anyone have a recommendation? I'd prefer one that it's also a seat so I don't need to by both.

I don't believe you are going to be able to find what you want that will hold up in that environment. Having worked in similar circumstances. What you are asking for is available, but they are a compromise at best. I would recommend a creeper with larger diameter wheels that have some give to them. A good place to start would be Whiteside manufacturing. They supply many tool brands with such products.

I use a separate creeper and mechanic's seat and I'm pretty happy with it. I considered one of the convertible creepers, but I really like the HF creeper with the adjustable headrest. Only problem is the welds were ****, fixed them myself.

I really don't care for any of the plastic creepers. My buddy broke a HF one, and I've seen a couple Mac ones in the dumpster at work because the wheels broke off.
