I am committed to removing a substantial part of my floor due to cracks.
The original contractor is not going to cooperate so I'm beyond that.
For example sake let's say I want to remove my 24' width floor and go into the garage a good 18' to cut that whole square out.
The rental center has a diamond saw of course but the blade is centered in the tool. I would not be able to get to the floor-wall joint or wall edge, but I'd be making a cut a few inches into the floor.
Anyone know of options without making this a whole lot harder than it will already be?
Just make the cut all on all four sides and start jackhammers get it up?
The only downside I see to the cut being in a few inches from the wall is my lift will have to be another 6+ inches in from that so I'm effectively moving my lift over a little.
