Cracking / chipping at control joints

My garage has a 30x30 slab that was poured about 6 weeks ago. The contractor cut 1/8 inch control joints in the slab in the pattern of a tick-tack-toe board. In the four areas where the joints intersect the concrete is starting to crack and chip apart. Granted the cracks / chips are small but I’m not happy about it since it’s a new slab. What would be the best way to prevent this from getting worse? Should I mix a small amount of concrete and fill in the joints for a few inches where they intersect? Would it be better to use some sort of caulking? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Beercan, will you coat with epoxy or leave natural?
The concrete solution you proposed will not work and will create more headaches.

If you will coat with epoxy, use a gel epoxy crack filler.
If you will leave natural use a urethane caulk/sealant.
