Went to Lowe's today to get some bolts, decided to check out the 3000 series Craftsman tool box.

Definitely a better tool box, the 2000 feels like complete **** next to this one. I really liked the full width drawers on the top box and double rails on the bottom box. The waisted space is not that bad from the desing and it has a nice pegboard on both sides.

The price is steep tho 😭, but then again you have to pay if you want mostly US made products.

I like the looks of this box, mainly because it's different. For me personally, I can't justify the $1198 plus tax price for it though. It is nice though.

Looks nice. Craftsman has a long way to go to win me over before I ever feel like the price is worth the quality. Seems like they are moving in the right direction at least.

The quality is there on this box, the problem is other competitors have just as good quality at a lower price. For the price of this one you can have the new Milwaukee 56", the box is excellent.

I got this whole setup from Lowes for $660 while they were on sale, and the bottom they knocked another $50 off for being a floor model. I'm happy with the quality for the money. I saw that box, and the lady and I were both impressed, but couldn't justify having just the bottom for what we paid for this whole setup, which is also a 52". However, it's nice to see craftsman stepping it up a bit! This box I have is better than my husky by a mile, but it's not nearly as nice as the box you posted.

For a garage guy like myself, you can't go wrong with either. 20190406_155506.jpeg

I felt that box was ok, I'm surprised you like it better than the husky.

My husky is pretty wobbly, and the slides have started to drift back open if you don't really push on the drawers which in turn moves the box. I have since wedged it under my workbench and locked the casters. I hope this doesn't become the same thing, but time will tell. My husky is about 3-4yrs old.

Those are pretty much Kennedy prices. I wonder who the OEM is.

I see I'm comparing it to a new Husky with soft close drawers. I have a 62" husky and it's slightly better made, my brother also has the 52 soft close one.
