I have two of these floor jacks and they have been used very little and both have issues. They both have the same part number 9 50145, only difference is one is painted all black while the other has yellow accents. I bought these about 6 months apart. The one with yellow accents will raise on the quick lift but will not pick up any load at all. May be something as simple as one of the adjustments but I had no clue which adjustment was for what so I haven't messed with it at all.

Now for the all black jack. The plunger that connects to the handle that actually pumps the fluid, the linkage that is welded to the top of the pump piston broke off the plunger. I can pull the plunger up with pliers and push the handle down and the jack still works fine. Anyone know if the plunger with the link on it can be bought ? Who sells repair parts for these?

Trust me.. In almost never as simple as "something out of adjustment", my advice.. Verify the oil level and if its good tear Into the unit and verify the condition of the main ram seal along with the pump seals. I would leave the valves alone for now and after verifying the seal condition "Then" open each valve individually taking care to pay Attention to each valve, its setting and the valve makeup and flush accordingly.

I believe this exploded view diagram should mimic your hydraulic unit.

So are the parts such as the pump plunger with the arm attached to it available from somewhere ?

I'm really not sure if Shinn fun is still selling the hard parts or not, if they did I have a feeling they would be expensive. What seems to be the issue with the current plunger? Arm? Are you referencing the handle assembly?

IC.. Since the parts are there I don't see why you can't well the U piece back on the rod. I would recommend trying to control the heat to prevent damage to the sealing zone of the rod surface.
