In some cases, used Craftsman has been selling on ebay for what some would consider crazy prices.
In the larger picture, there is a glut of old Craftsman in the second-hand market. There is not, and there will not be in the foreseeable future, any shortage of old Craftsman tools.
Shop the listings.
If an item looks to be of interest, put it on your "watch" list and wait out the seller. If they don't offer you a deal in a day or two, move on.
Nobody has any "exclusives" on any Craftsman - not even
the guy who sold the Craftsman socket set two days ago for $1662 - another one will pop up in a year or two.
ebay seller "toolandpartcrib" would be a good place to start - I usually get 15-20% off his asking prices depending on quantity.
I just checked. looks like he just found a nice set of DBEs, among other things.
His listings are spotty lately - he's gotten more into the "coin" thing lately.
