Wanted some input on it from you guys but its a deal for me so

Is this type supposed to have a blade guard or not its not really important just askin

I have one. For $20 and the blades you can't go wrong. What's to loose? It's not a powerhouse, but it was what I used when I built a three car garage.

You definitely want the blade guard, without things will stop getting cut off and I'm not referring to things you want cut off.

Don't even consider that thing with no blade guard. Assuming that the parts are still available, what you would spend on that piece of junk and the parts and shipping would add up to way more than what you could get a cheap new saw (Skil) for or a nice used one at a pawn shop.

That looks like the C-man Evolv saw. It is listed as $40 new. Note the green trigger in the CL pic and the weave pattern on the handle. The Evolv is the only C-man saw Sears sells that has those two things. At $40 new, no way I would pay $20 for a used one with no blade guard.
