I saw a set on display and to me they looked a little oversized. When I first saw pics of them I thought to myself they would be great for working under a dash. But after seeing them I don't think they would fit in most of the dark places they could be usefull. And then things like batt life, what kind of batts, are they replaceable, are they as strong as reg pliers, can you warrenty them come to mind. I would put them in the gimmicky cattagory, kinda neat to look at but not really usefull.

Think of all those light up screw driver handles, we've all gotten one as some time or other... Have they ever really been usefull? lol

Pure ****! I bought the linesman pliers to check it out, at first you could barely open them up because they were so stiff. Now they are too loose. The cutter is dull and the handles are not straight. The only thing I like about them is the light.

I got one of those bit driver screw drivers with the light in the handle from Craftsman for Christmas probably 15+ years ago and it has actually come in handy on occasion. I don't however think that the pliers would be a good idea.
