I am not sure if I posted this in the right section but my sears has 2 of the U.S made 1/2 beam torque wrenches on clearance for 14.97. If anyone would like them let me know and I would be happy to pick them up for you. Just pay shipping and actual cost. I'm not looking to make anything just help someone out since all the new ones are Chinese made.

FWIW, that's less than mine cost forty years ago. I got it as a birthday present from a girlfriend. Still got it, in the original box. Still works perfectly.

Another FWIW - I put a beam torque wrench with extension and socket to fit lug nuts in each of my vehicles. The toy OEM lug wrench in most cars is a joke. This assumes, of course, your car has a spare. New car without a spare tire is a really bad joke. Do you know whether there's one in yours or not? My next door neighbor called me from the side of the road and said someone had stolen his spare tire. He hadn't looked and didn't know there was never a tire in there.
