I dissembled my Craftsman 1/2" Ratchet (Model 44975) over the weekend and inspected all the parts. All the parts are still in good shape. My question is related to the Quick Release assembly. Is there a way to dissemble the QuickRelease in order to clean this assembly thoroughly? I have attached pictures to the post for reference. Thank you advance for your assistance and advice.

The ball is what holds it all together. I'd just spray a little WD-40 in there to clean it up.

I dunked mine into a small cup (I think it was from a nyquil bottle) filled with superlube synthetic oil for a few minutes then reassembled and set it on a shop towel. I did a whole bunch of my old Craftsman ratchets at the same time and they've been smooth and don't skip any more, like they are pretty renowned for doing, for many years since.
