Craftsman 1/4 socket/ratchet sets for 50% off

Thanks for heads up, my 1/4 was missing a few metrics and I wanted another 1/4 rachet any way.

Hey Racer,

You just made my wife a very happy person. She manages a telephone company line crew of 27 men. She tries to buy these guys gifts for their birthdays and Christmas. Her crew is large so she likes to keep the price of a gift around $10. It's tough to buy a nice gift that someone would appreciate when you're trying to keep it in this price range so every year she stresses out over trying to find a decent gift. I tried to buy 27 of the metric sets and it came back and told me only 4 sets were available. I hit the "see similar items" link and it took me to the SAE sets for the same price. I just purchased 4 metric sets and 26 SAE sets. Her Christmas shopping for her crew is done. Thank you very much for the tip when my wife is happy my life is good.

Great value. Picked this set up today. The ratchet handle is the same as another ¼ I have that is at least 20 years old, the head is slightly different. Stamped Made in USA.

I looked at the local Sears and also asked a sales person and they were not aware of a 1/4 inch drive set for that price. Can you tell me what the sets number was? Probably not on sale anymore but I could then keep an eye out for future sale.

I believe it was a catalog order only. I just received 29 sets today. Looks like one may have been back ordered.
