Or never mind... it keeps showing 3 in stock for pickup but erroring out before checkout... If it wasn't for the deals I wouldn't shop at sears

They had this for 7.82 two weeks ago for about two hours. Then changed it to 10% off like the 1/2 and 3/4. Dunno if this is an error again or not.

Try looking for this on you SYWR app. I have these showing up as $2.84 on the app. When I open the app, i scroll down to the "Nearby Deals" section and they list as $2.84. I discovered this a couple days ago but haven't had a chance to post until now. Sorry about that. But when I added these to the cart, they rang up at $2.47 each. Not sure if they're still doing that, though. I bought five so I cold give a few out to the guys at work. 4 of the 5 I got were Chinese. The fifth was good ole USA. Good luck gents.

that's what I just did too... it's not ideal to me that it's a 1/4" and not a 3/8", but for the price, I'm not really complaining...

I went to my local store and found the last NOS USA one, grabbed it... the dude couldn't sell it to me at the online price but he was cool with me placing an online order on the spot and he personally handed it to the guy in the back handling the pickups

the new ones are taiwan made... not too bad, but like many here, I prefer USA if given the choice! There's a difference between the two... the end of the handle is flat on the USA one, but the taiwan one is rounded... since mine seems to have been sitting on shelf for a while, the inside was a little rusty/squeaky.... nothing like a little Wurth HHS-2000 can't fix!

Thanks. I just canceled my original order for $7.52.

On my local ad, the 1/4 is $2.94 and the 3/8 is $5.64. So I canceled and re-bought at the lower local ad price.

My local store must not have a lot to sell, I do have some other great deals in my local add. 6.00 deep jaw vice grips, 15.00 for 5 piece file set, 10.00 pipe wrench.

I'd pay someone to ship me the 1/4 and 3/8 for 2.94 and 5.64 or the 4.00 and 7.00

the local ads for all the stores in my area doesn't have this for that cheap, however I did see my local store has the chisel holder for 5 bucks and some change, and the 5 piece power bolt out set for $10 bucks... but when I checked out, it knocked off a couple of bucks, so it was under $15 out the door!

It was likely older store stock. Any new ones coming to the stores are China made. The store I got mine at had one USA one behind several made in China.

Now that you mention it, the ones at the store I went to may have been Taiwan COO. I just noticed they were no longer stamped USA.

Mine was made in Taiwan, but honestly it looks/feels as nice/nicer than my 3/8" USA one.
