Craftsman 1/4hp grinder split phase motor wiring

Thanks you in advance for any helpful comments. I took this grinder in on trade and would like get it running to use in my shop .The switch and power cord are missing and I don't want burn it

How did you wire it? I just hooked up a phase converter to run a 3 phase Arboga drill press.

Why would he even consider a phase converter on a single phase motor?
