Good price but I've had these tools. Not impressed. The impact is only good for very light duty work and I'd rather use a speed wrench or cordless impact than the ratchet wrench. I'd spend another $10-15 and just get a decent impact like the HF earthquake.

not a bad set for a homeowner, I bought one last time to sell to a buddy, so I just ordered another one to replace it.

there is a $12 surprise points on tool purchase >$50, so actual price is a bit lower ($48 for me shipped since I had a couple bucks in leftover points).

i'll likely sell it for $50 to someone who needs one to get started so won't make any real money on it but it's good to be able to help out when guys stop over and ask if I have any tools for sale...

I wonder if the air tools in this set are the exact same as Ingersoll Rand and Harbor Freight's Central Pneumatic.

Price is really good, but then we get what we pay for.

That looks like the set that came with my Craftsman 33 gallon compressor years ago. The impact wrench will bust off reasonably torqued lug nuts but is not very ergonomic. It is really uncomfortable to use, at least I thought so. Like Gannz said, I think your money would be better spent towards a cordless impact wrench than this set.

Another thing that always confuses me with these sets is that they include an air hammer tool. If it is a homeowner grade kit, why not include a die grinder or something else instead?

I think they are both around the same air consumption, not positive though.

Usually for these air tools, the recommended CFM required is around 4 to 5 CFM @ 90psi. I'm using a 3/8" Impact Wrench; it is rated at 5 CFM @ 90psi, but I'm using it on a small 8 gallon compressor, which happens to be rated at 4.5 CFM @ 90psi. However, the tool removes lug nuts just fine. May be I shouldn't overworking the tool this way?

realistically it's a 4 pc. set if you include the hose...
