Could someone who owns one of these beauties comment on the approximate weight the saw?

I am trying to plot a Craiglist acquisition and I need to see how many friends to bring along to pick it up.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

They're not that heavy, unless it's attached to a big base. Two able-bodied people should be able to pick it up no problem.

If you're talking about a vintage 100 series 7"-8" saw, those little suckers are solid cast iron and is quite heavy. Very difficult for one person, pretty heavy even for two people.
I think mine is pretty complete, I'd sell it for a fair offer...

I used to have one. They are heavy! But two guys can lift one up in the back of a SUV or truck. Loved mine, and miss it at the same time. They just dont make 'em like they used to!

I am curious to see a pic of any cman table saw you need help moving. Must be older.

This is the saw in question, the 10 inch variety:

It is of the same vintage as my floor model drill press.

It is missing the waffle like table extensions, but that will give me something else for which to hunt.

Perhaps it is vanity to have your tools match . . . but why not!
