I picked up this Disc Sander a few months back from an estate sale. It worked great, but could use a little cleaning up. I already had it apart before I started taking pics, but here are some of the unit before and after cleanup / repaint. The table it's sitting on I made out of a re-puposed sewing machine base I picked up a few weeks back. It's a bit wobbly, so I'll be looking for something a bit more stable for it.

Thanks,
The base was just the two sides I picked up for $10. I bought a 3/8 rod, cut it into 3 pieces, threaded the ends, and added the round top from Home Depot for another $6. So all in all, I'm into it for under $25. The base by itself is pretty sturdy, but put that 60lb. machine on top, and the dynamics change a bit.

Well, I love the sander more than the base, but it's your dog. I'd be a little tentative about tipping it over while using it. Very nice workmanship!
well, like i said, l like the stand,
but it's just me, again, I think a metal, square or rectangle top would look better.
Almost to me, looks like it's sitting on a bar stool.
Those are nice sanders, I have one too, But it's a 103.XXXXX

Great job on the resto! I've been hunting for a Cman 12" sander for some time.
Where are you located in Northern NJ. I'm in North Bergen County, right on the Rockland County border.
