You're doing it backwards. Get rid of the Hitachi and keep that classic. Much better saw than anything Hitachi has ever or will ever make.

Especially since there there is no Hitachi power tools no more. 😉
But yeah if I only could keep one it would be the Craftsman.

That Table saw is a work of beauty, I would not sell it. I love mine.

same here I have my grandfathers 1952 c-man- I passed on stepdads 1988 ccman- THe old one runs/cuts true- Its a really nice machine (I did repower it- the old half horse or maybe one horse wasn't enough-) I picked up a side extension off ebay (to match the original one grandpa bought with it and always wished he had gotten the other side- I really like using it, and it is probably better quality than most of the new ones - unless you want to spend $$$$

Be lucky to get 150...depending on where you are. PNW might not be over-run with vintage stuff, but in the Great Lakes area, even in the nice condition yours is in, you would be hard pressed to get more than 150-175. Particularly with the Erector set stand instead of the pedestal. Mine is a year or two newer than yours (gray instead of Power Bronze) and I paid $100 for it with a Pedestal stand about 2 years ago.

Location has a lot to do with value. I have at least 8 saws that are similar to that for the simple fact that i cant pass them up for $20 or less. A few have even had the craftsman motor and the powr-panl on them. Not many people want to mess with hauling or moving them. Once i find the pedestal, ill be putting one together out of the best pieces like 11b's and partin out the rest.
