Greetings,
I'm in the process of restoring a Craftsman 150 DP. (103.24511)
Painted and just about ready for reassembly. The one thing I'm missing is the Quill Lock handle and bolt (do have the internal cylinders). Any suggestions on where I might find this? Considering a generic handle from McMaster Carr until I can find an original. Thanks for any suggestions.
Bill

I just bought a craftsman 150 model 103.24520. It's the bench top model and it is also missing the quill lock handle, bolt, and a few other pieces judging from some of the parts diagrams I've looked at online. It's going to be awhile before I can dig in and start the restoration. This is my first tool resto project. My question is are the same parts from different models/years interchangeable? I've found some parts on eBay but for different models. Maybe it's a dumb question but I'm just beginning to learn about these old machines. 04cfc662b9c21cdfd6a25ef520799ae9.jpg 02f61589aef3af7fee5d706f6f8be647.jpg

Sitchin,
Don't have a handle or bolt, but I do have an extra set of the internal quill lock cylinders (like the ones in the top photo) PM me if interested.

Ok, no spring tension knob. The oe lock with the lever handle will work fine.

The alloy lock cylinders with the separate nut ****. The steel cylinders are much better.

Later Emerson Craftsman quill locks with the plastic knob also ****. The plastic knobs can crack and become useless.

If you're not a purist, you can look for other manufacturer locks. Walker-Turner and Atlas will fit.
