It's interesting to note that Sears photoshopped out the "USA" stamp on the wrench images.

I don't know what this means.

I believe the original price on this used to be higher than its listed at now. That along with the photoshoped image make me think they are now imported. But who knows, up to this point all of the modules were 100% USA and it seems like they have been working on discontinuing them. Why now they would bring them back out with Asian tools is beyond me...

I got these the last time they were on sale and they were USA made. My father in law was looking for wrenches so I told him they were back on sale. Gonna be a bummer if they are now not USA. I did notice the MSRP was much less than the ones I got a few months back. Funny yet sad that they photo-chopped the image to remove "USA".

As a matter of principal maybe he'll return them if they are not USA. $50 is decent price for a set of wrenches like this if USA. However if they are imports then not so much.

the fact that there are none available within 300 miles of me makes me wonder if they are still the old stock. If you're in the market, no harm in ordering and seeing what becomes of it. Just return it if they're not USA.

I purchased a set as well. Might as well add something for $5 to your order and use the "SEARS2012" coupon code which is $5 off a order of $50 or more. If they are not USA made wrenches they will be going back.
I will let you know when I receive mine.

These appear to be shipping from stores so in all likelihood are the last of the USA made Professional wrench sets. Knowing how accurate Sears inventory is, I would not be surprised if some of our orders end up cancelled.

So I am a little late to the ball game I just pulled the plug and got me a set of these. Checked for them at the local ACE hardware yesterday and they had none checked at local SEARS today and again no luck. My wife is going to kill me but oh well you only live once might as well have nice tools. 89.99- Sears 20I13 think is still a nice price.

Link,

I hope yours are usa as well. If not i would return them. I dont understand why they went back up to 89 bucks. Its a little suspect because they are listed as full polish and not professional. Im crossing my fingers for you in hope of the usa set.

Is it me or is anyone else itching to finish their sets?

The sales guy that found this set for me "in the back" brought out the 10pc. Large set that was also on sale for 101.93 (Reg Price: $169.99).

:dunno:

I got both.

I calculated it at just over 90 to finish these modules. So that's still $140 for a good set of sae and metric wrenches.

The larger set was on sale for $85 just the other day. I don't know why they haven't officially been marked down online since they are on clearance at all the stores.

I would like to finish off my sets as well with the big set if I can find big USA on sale I'LL pick it up. Any one know if I can pick up a big set of polished flat ratchet wrenches without the directional switch lever?

Just got home and checked them out ANDYES USA Craftsman professional. I am happy with them but would've been super happy if I had gotten the sale price.
