A few years back I bought a Craftsman 19.2 volt drill and have been very happy with it. For my household needs it has been more than satisfactory. A few months ago, I bought the cordless vacuum from the same series. It is head and shoulders above any other "Dustbuster" type of vacuum that I've ever used. It really *****! Yesterday I burned a gift card that I received on the right-angle drill and flourescent lantern. Again, great stuff for the money. I wouldn't contend that this stuff is professional grade, but for the typical homeowner I couldn't recommend it more.

I have the 14.4 "dustbuster" looking vacuum and I couldn't be happier with it. I had the 14.4 impact driver, and it was a pleasure to use.
Where I work, we sell thousands of these Craftsman 19.2 cordless tools (no, it is not Sears or Kmart). I think they are good for the money, and the batteries are not too expensive to replace (although they do not last as long as the Dewalts).
To me, the weakest 19.2 Craftsman product is the drill. The cheap 2 sleeve chucks are nothing but frustration after you use one of the more expensive brands. On the Dewalts, the motor locks when you let go of the trigger, allowing you to easily and with one hand tighten the single sleeve ratcheting chuck with serrated carbide teeth. This ***** easily grips the piss out of a drill bit, and is just as easy to loosen. Also, the triggers on the 19.2 Craftsmans wear out about the same time as the batteries do.
