I have a set of these from a few years ago and they have held up well. Thinking of getting another set at that price. No idea where they are made would have to guess overseas you never know with sears anymore.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna get on that as well. I have a much older pair of Craftsmans that I swear by...I guess I'll get a good enough look at them in the store before making the decision, hopefully.

Did you check them out today I got busy did not get a chance. If they are decent I will order a pair to ship to my house. I have Max so it is free shipping.

They're ok, but for a little more you can usually find the 4 ton version on sale. Remember that weight rating is per pair. Better too much (safety) than not enough.

Thats what i was thinking they also have there 3 ton on sale. Tey have a lot better framing set up on the 3 ton. Guess i will be biting the bullet on the 3 ton model. Plus the 3 ton model has a lifting range that is 4in. higher 21in. compared to 17in.

These are on sale:

http://www.craftsman.com/craftsman-2-1-4-ton-jack-stands-2-pk/p-00950182000P

anyone have any experience with this? anyone know the COO? Can never have too many jack stands...

I went ahead an ordered a set of the 3 ton high lift stands. They were 4in. taller than the 2.25 ones. Also ordered the 6 ton bottle jack they have in sale. Pretty good deal on both. With syw points delivered to my door for $45.00. Allways need another set of jack stands and the bottle jack was too good to pass up.
