Does anyone have the Craftsman oilless 20 gallon air compressor? Trying to get feedback on this compressor. My last two compressors were Craftsman (both oilless) and they have held up well. Not so sure how the newer models are fairing out.

Was looking at the Wen compressor, but cannot get any good feedback.

I use the compressor very infrequently for light stuff around the house, like filling up the tires and using a staple gun.

Thanks.

20 gallons kind of seems like overkill for inflating tires and using a staple gun. You could get away with a small pancake compressor. I've got an 8 gallon harbor freight model (oiled compressor ) and I use it for nail guns, inflating and running an impact wrench for tire rotations. Only $100 with coupon.

You are right about the over kill on the 20 gallon. That is why I was looking at the 10 gallon Wen compressor.

I did fail to mention that I use it to blow off the lawn mowers too. I think a 10 gallon would be perfect for me. I have an 8 gallon right now and it struggles to keep up with cleaning the mowers, which only means I have a short wait for the compressor.

Not too sure of Harbor Freight compressors. Love the store for many items. However, my friends have a variety of compressors from Harbor Freight and it took one or two trips to get one that worked correctly. They gave them a less than average rating.

By the way, I have had oil compressors in the past, but they struggled to start on those cold days filling the snow thrower tires for the neighbors.

I have a 'newer' Craftsman 20 Gallon, I got 2 years ago. It has been great for me so far, but with milwaukee power tools I don't use the compressor much. Probably less than 15 times a year for tires, and blowing out dirty tools etc. I installed a extended water valve so it's easy to get to without having to move the compressor.
