I've had this for probably 15 years, my favorite tool. I like it better than magnetic retrievers. You can pick up non-magnetic things with it (things like plastic fasteners). I also use it for picking up metal nuts and bolts that are deep, because since the tool is non-magnetic, it doesn't keep sticking to the side of the engine while you are trying to retrieve something.

This hardly ever goes on sale. Mine is USA, not sure if this is USA or is made overseas at this point.

Once you use this tool and the magnetic retriever you will never believe how you ever got anything done after spending time picking up lost tools and fasteners in all the crevices. I have one in all my toolboxes because they save that much time.

I recently 'saw the light'. I love my lighted magnetic pick-up tool. Sears has one that frequently goes on sale for $6.99, #46946. It's currently $5.99, but the website is making it impossible to order right now (at least for me).

I prefer the non lit version then using a flashing. I actually prefer my flexible Sears magnetic pickup tool with a flashlight but they quit selling the flexible one.

Picked one up. For $4 it will pay for itself with one use. There are times were the telescoping magnet can be a pain in the rear. It will be nice to have this one in the arsenal as well. Thanks OP!
