I also got that Amazon Email for the Craftsman Box Set. It looks to be nice quality. I would be afraid it would be damaged in shipment and then I'd be stuck with it.

I wish I could just get that top on Woot. Looks like it is a deep top (16") and 6 levels of drawers. Could hold a lot in that top chest.

In the comments portion of the page, someone mentions the box has utilizing the Quiet Glide system...which means no ball bearing drawers, for those that matter.

I have this set and it has held up well under weekend use. I don't doubt that some of the deeper drawers are overloaded and I have had zero problems with the slides. The top box holds a lot of tools and the small drawers at the top are very handy. This is better quality than most of the Craftsman non-ball bearing chests.

I have the same chest in blue. Quality is not an issue.

The Harbor Freight 26" stack is only a tad bit more and has ball bearing slides and in my opinion, is a much more stout option. There's currently a coupon floating around for it priced at 299.99.

The Kmart chest isn't even close to being the same. Their top has 7 drawers where the Woot top has 12 and the bottom has 5 drawers vs 6 in the other. Woot's looks like its built a little better too

shallow box not too exciting.

Unit Measures: 26.5" W x 18" D x 33.75" H (with Casters)
4 Drawers Measure: 22.4" W x 16.5" D x 3.2" H

and those woot deals gone fast.

How much was it? I'd be leery of that top box. I have/had an early 90's model USA made, the extra depth made the drawers flimsy and the 9 drawers on top really put a good load on the hanger bracket. I wonder what the modern equivalent is like. :dunno:
