1st post; go easy on me
Picked up an old craftsman V series 3/4 drive ratchet set at one of the local thrift shops I frequent. Paid $100 for ratchet, sliding breaker 3 extension bars (2 short, 1 long); and 15 sockets up to 2-3/8th. He's got some old Plomb and Proto sockets, so will stop in tomorrow and try to fill in the gaps.
Not sure if it's a screaming deal by garage journal standards, but I am pretty happy with the purchase. It gives me 3/4 drive stuff which I did not previously have as well as sizes over 1 - 11/16th
I don't really have a need for them, but I have found it's best to buy tools when you don't need them. Helps prevent paying through the nose when you do.
Also thought I would share the hanging tool chest I also snagged from the local thrift shop; It was a little rusty to begin with, finally got around to getting it sanded/primed and painted. I may be interested in letting this one go; don't really have the room for it or the tools. If some one is local to So Cal, that's best, but If you are at some point on the way to Vegas, SLC or Denver, I am headed on a road trip in a few weeks, so we may be able to work something out.
And for the poor souls that can't see the pictures, here is an imgur linkhttp://imgur.com/a/fZZaP
